HSM have partnered with Roleshare to open its jobs to roleshare candidates. Doing so, "will enable HSM to attract a wider range of candidates and allow a more diverse range of individuals to join the team. People may be at different life stages and require the flexibility of working part-time," says Deven Naran, Head of Operations at HSM. 

By opening traditional, full-time roles to part-time skilled professionals, companies are able to reach talent who otherwise may never have applied in the first place. Job share has been relatively prevalent in the public sector. Now, on the tail of Covid and new ways of working, a growing number of private organization, 50% of the Fortune 100 "Best Companies to Work For" in 2021, offer job share perks. This is a fast-growing space beyond gig, fractional, remote, or hybrid working. We recently interviewed HSM to get their view on why they've opened their jobs to be shared.

What led to your decision to proactively open full-time roles to roleshare applicants?
HSM has two Managing Directors who work very successfully as a partnership. We are currently hiring a senior role and believe that offering the position as a role share would work well, not only for the individuals but also the business through bringing more skills to the team.
